I do agree with you, but with an area like that something has to be done. We were pretty much a hair from seeing a multi fatal accident. A car could go off at the very same place with the exact outcome by just blowing a tire.

True... but I think the question of safety of spectators and safety of marshals/photographers is a very different one. There was a high fence protecting spectators, and though there was a big risk of that flying wheel vaulting it, that was all IMO.

Photographers standing in that access road accept they are allowed into dangerous positions at their own risk.

catch fencing.

There's already plenty of that shit at Le Mans. As a spectator you can't see anything but that, and it's a photographer's nightmare. I don't know what the ACO will chose to do now.

Maybe, but it's better than crap pelting someone, and better than a paved area.

What I mean is that the spectators are already safe, there's no point in installing more fencing in front of them.
Now, do you put fencing between the track and the photographers (with maybe just some holes), with the side effect of greatly limiting their ability to take pictures, or do you let it like it is and risk other accidents?

Both AMR One's officially retired now according to SPEED's ticker. Without a doubt one of the worst cars ever to run at LM given the team and resources?
