Both Peugeot's are going to have to run as fast as humanly possible and try to gap the Highcroft car enough to get out ahead with an extra pitstop.

The ILMC points system could reward a win a bit more, imho... 15-13-11-9...1 (double for Le Mans)

Also only car car per team scores points.

If they're running 30 MPH they're going to be in a lot of trouble.

I know what you meant.

Does the Oreca count for the Peugeot team for points?

Or can the Oreca score points and also one of the factory cars?

It scores team points for Oreca. But I think it can score for the Peugeot the Manufacturer. Same points system for the manufacturers except that two best finishers score points:

I figure the Peugeot's will need to be about 1 minute 10 seconds to 1 minute 15 seconds ahead of Highcroft to try to get out ahead of him with the extra pitstop.

Right now the Oreca is 1:04.00 ahead of Highcroft.

I have no idea why the Oreca is switching drivers.

That will cost them a lot of time.

The Oreca has to splash and go though with 10 minutes to go... right?

Yes, most likely. They've done +- 50 minutes/stint the whole race, and they stopped with 56 to go. Main question is if Highcroft will have to stop again...

I hope not. That'd be awesome for them to win.

Highcroft 73 seconnds behind Oreca

I think the Oreca has enough of a lead to do a splash and go.

Got some problems for Montagny. Killed the engine and came off the jack too soon.
