Will be interesting to see if this goes any further than a test.

From what I've read, he's interested in doing Endurance racing... same with Rossi. Loeb afterall finished 2nd at Le Mans in LMP1 once, so the talent can be transferred across. I think this hypercar era might have some interesting combo's of drivers from all sorts of disciplines

wheel came off in the last corner :8:
another 2 feet to the right for that other car and it would have been appalling

Turns on race: a minute long splitscreen of 2 pitboxes and the people behaving silly in front of the camera.

Turns off race. What a ridiculous championship if this is all they can show 2 hours into the race, really nothing interesting happening on track if this is the first thing I see when tuning in. Most boring racing series on the planet.

Van Der Zande having to hold onto the door to try and keep it closed.

That was after being assaulted by Albuquerque

That's what they'd show even if the race had been the most amazing race ever because of the pit box face fetish of tv directors so that's some great logic there. The hourly recap is a different segment.

Not that much has been going on in this race with not even all the full season entries being present.

Oh yes WEC is pathetic. Le Mans has lost its prestige because of the farce that LMP1 or whatever it's called has become. The GT 'aint much better either.

I agree and I'm pissed because I had just gotten my wife excited about LeMans in time for it to turn into a farce.

However, we just need to hang on another couple of years for all of the new OEMs to enter Hypercar. I honestly believe we are on the cusp of some of the best 24s we've had in years, maybe even decades!

It's what happens in topline sportscars. There's always huge rises and huge dips. It's just in that dip right now.

tru, it can only get better! Felt the same as the other posts in this thread about Bahrain, had it on in the background, only battle I noticed was when da Costa passed another LMP2 for 3rd. JPM lost a tire on track in the United Autosport car also.

and oh yay, there's another 8 hours of Bahrain next weekend.

it is always darkest just before dawn
