Quote:
Nicolas Perrin promised an open-source project and has done so with the recent launch of the myTeam website.

The English manufacturer aims to be on the grid of the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2015 with a four-wheel drive LMP1 hybrid, which over time will be made available to download on the internet. (En Français)

Perrinn Limited’s aim is to attract partners for the construction of the car through the innovative program. MyTeam hopes to raise $4.1 million for the build of the first car, on-track testing and the development of the race team for next year.

Rooting for this project

Thinking of going to Le Mans this year with a few mates from work. Looking at the site now, camping spaces are only available at "aa zone jaune". Requires a shuttle bus to the stands etc. Anyone camped here before? Just looking for any advice what to do/not etc. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Great to see Sergey Zlobin and Barthez in there. Looks like a really eclectic mix this year

Krohn only on the reserve list, haha.

Good news on ELMS too. Not too long ago they had to cancel races because of too few entries.

MOAR CARSSS

Yes, the new logo sucks a decent amount.

Let me see if I can get this straighten out:

Alpine=Zytek
Morgan=Old Oak Pescarolo
Ligier=New Oak
Lotus=rehashed Lola

Correct? And the Ligier's mentioned, is that the new coupe that they are building or just a rebrand?

Isn't the Alpine the ORECA 03? The Morgan is a Pescarolo 01. The Caterhams are Zyteks. The Lotus, if it's the same as last year is made by ADESS, but they just look at other cars and photocopy stuff off of them.

I think you are right. But isn't Caterham a part owner of the Alpine brand nowadays? Confusing. And yes, the Lotus will most likely be far, far, far... far off Rebellion.

6x AMR and 7x AF Corse, if you count SMP Racing which is somehow involved with them.

I like the concept of the logo, but it's executed poorly. No 'character'. I do like the way it looks when used as a watermark on the screen (see screenshots of the entrylist)
