Fucks sake, don't cut to an interview when there's a side by side battle to the line!

Imagine if that lead had changed with the swearing going on from the LMP1 team, every time they clipped it, the FUCK YEAH would have to come with it

I've been watching motorsport and sports in general for the better part of 25 years now, and I still have to understand the point to rush to interview somebody who has just won a competition.

What do you think they are going to say other than "yeah, we're very happy"? Why do they think anybody watching a competition feels the urge to hear an absolutely obvious statement?

And can't they just leave them to celebrate in peace, so that they don't have to "apologise" for an absolutely understandable "fuck yeah", and then go for the interview?

Thankfully the tv director didn't cut to the interview with the images.

Cheaters got busted big time. Obviously won't change the results which is usual for US racing but at least they got exposed. I wonder if the Shank team suddenly has a "down year" after this nonsense. I don't expect IMSA will give them much benefit of the doubt now.

Absolutely huge development. Sounds like they fired the engineer too.
