In F1 I support anyone who can beat Mercedes, in WEC I want to see Toyota lose. It´s been long enough, we don´t need yet another win without competition of the same manufacturer. So go Glickenhaus! Go Alpine!

Yeah, Glick himself is a bit of a douche, but all credit that he's bringing it hardcore style to Toyota, so I'm rooting for them. Very rare these days to have a privateer outfit going all in like this.

Take a look at https://www.reddit.com/r/motorsportstreams2/ before the race starts.

I do look there but usually it's a lot of people requesting a stream and a lot of streamers disussing copyright issues why they can't stream lol

Lets hope that changes for the big event ;)

Big crash in the Le Mans cup race btw, almost exactly the same incident as we saw in race 1 for the Mercedes, losing it over the crest and spinning it into the barriers on camera left

An actual safety car now, a rare event indeed

Not only was there that crash to clear up but another car clipped a tyre barrier and left it all over the track and another car eventually clipped the debris and crashed too

This coupled with another car having a puncture and leaving tyre debris everywhere, means this track is a MESS

May as well put it in its own class if you're that intent on it not winning

Technically it is in its own class... since it is the old Rebellion LMP1, downtuned and with a too small fuel tank (smaller than what LMH rules otherwise allow). So the BoPing situation has been extra bizarre since it needed to slow down a vastly faster car from an old extinct class.

Not hard to imagine when it was accepted (because ACO didn't trust Glickenhaus to show up) that there was an unwritten agreement that they can maybe win other races but not the 24 on pace.

Don't how many people already know about it but I've found the r/WEC scratchpad really useful over the last few years - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1P8IK0RFZ7YbUQA9vgwnwfhaiGjFxgAsj25UFfWSvOBY/edit#heading=h.gao3wmm9kiza

for those who can watch it if it isn't geoblocked, and don't mind commentary in French:

RTBF Auvio will stream the entire race: https://www.rtbf.be/auvio/detail_wec?lid=397487

Might not be set up for the most exciting Le Mans ever, but it's still Le Mans. Looking forward to the next 24 hours
