What are you talking about? PC was a GREAT Class. FACT!
They brought so much to the sportscar world! NO QUESTION!

Next year's likely 100% green race without them will suffer as a result of their absence!*

*This post brought to you by the "Alternative facts" of the IMSA Radio team, literally the only place in the world of Sportcars that thinks PC was a good thing.

The scary part is that those tires were new for 2017 as well.

To be fair though, I doubt the new tires were tested even near the range of ambient temperatures that were seen in the overnight portions of the race. Hope that Hoosier can figure out these bugs for future races (or IMSA makes tire warmers legal)

This is the 2nd place Porsche, first chasing the Ford and then the trying to keep the Ferrari behind.

No they weren't.

Those were last years tires, due to the unique nature of Daytona. The new ones come at Sebring.

Missed what, exactly? 115 seconds is 1:45...just shy of being lapped.

Didn't know that, was going off from what I remember hearing over the broadcast.

It's sad when you notice in Autosports results for the race that two of the retirements for the PC class are given as 'Gave up'.

Yup and should have been parked way sooner.

Interesting to note that one of their drivers, Scott Mayer, is known for failing the Indy rookie orientation TWICE! Even Milka Duno passed that.
