Nick Tandy will take one of those seats. Porsche is in no hurry to fill the other two. Alonso will drive the first 3-4 races in F1 next year and then make up his mind. Porsche is saving a seat for him.

Meanwhile, Penske lends out JPM to Porsche's LMP1 team next year, then builds a relationship to build a Penske-Porsche DPi for 2018.

If Alonso hadn't made several references to next year already, I would be keeping a *very* close eye on his manager right now...

That same link suggests and Lotterer will take one of the seats. No surprise.

Now Baku GP wants to move its date to avoid Le Mans clash. I bet Bernie still doesn't.

Or Penske working his way into a Joest like arrangement with Porsche and taking a bunch of ex-Audi guys into his operation.

Toyota add a third car and make noises about having to cost-save.

Toyota threaten to quit if rules change, even though this would result in lower budgets.

I'll take 'Toyota looking for an excuse to back out of WEC' for $200, Alex.
