I assume it's not normal that Motors has no inserts at all? Such as standings, laps complete, etc

Probably not, but tbh I prefer it without the inserts. I can following the race on live timing without inserts clogging up the screen.

Maybe because Speed isn't covering the race at the moment.

According to the TV guide of Wheels (which is all you can get of wheels...sob, boo hoo etc) SPEED are on for another hour and a half.....then it's off to NASCAR qualifying
