After Pocono, they won't risk it at US tracks.

Though, I'm not sure if the 30 min thing is FL law, NASCAR law, or some contrived thing they made up to appease the insurance underwriters.

That makes no sense with the 30 minute lightning rule. Confused now

It did indeed.

Wait, they're restarting this? Was there actually no lightning? Did the FIA just say fuck it, we'll pay a fine, or whatever the penalty is?

:o

Same. They either red flagged it when they didn't need to, or they're now racing when they shouldn't be.

Ridiculous, I bet the teams who just pitted are pleased. At least shit like this is a thing of the past in F1 now they've got rid of Masi... oh wait

Probably red flagged it too early not understanding whatever the law says. Then went back to SC to prepare to race but were overruled when conditions ACTUALLY presented themselves for a legit red flag.

Looks like this is it, race over.

Post subject:  Re: 2022 Super Sebring (March 13-19)

Not sure how much racing they would have done if the storm had hit anyway, probably would've been red flag conditions fairly quickly anyway
