Why did Eurosport do ? The feed showed everything.

Eurosport were showing an onboard shot while the crashes happened?

They were showing an onboard of the Audi while the accidents happened. You could hear the commenators commentating the action while we were watching an onboard. Chaotic...

The pictures were on a big delay, commentary still live though

Ahhh that would make sense.

That #29 could be done, it hit pretty hard into the concrete head-on there.

Session extension could come handy or ACO is going to be waivering quite a few rookie drivers.

Ah ok just saw it on Eurosport feed... They missed everything.

And Eurosport is in control of their own feed btw (as I'm recording it at the same time as the world wide feed) but they are showing more onboards.

I think Eurosport were replaying the #1 going off which happened while they were on an Ad-break but clearly hadn't give the commentators the same feed so they were still covering the live action.

Theres been a few times so far where its seemed the commentators are watching something different to what we can see. When one of the GT Porsche's seemed to have suffered a fire in the pits earlier the UK commentators totally ignored it as if they couldn't see the same images we could. They also talked over a Mark Webber interview earlier & don't always seem to stop talking for the team radio as if they don't see the on-screen message.

Chose the wrong time to make dinner, thought the previous red flag would be longer. This is getting seriously stupid.

They would never bar Kristensen for not doing enough laps.

Force majeures are written to the rules, so no problem for anybody really. For sure this amount of reds counts as extraordinary situation.

They're not the same design but they are based around the same principle- using soft walls to absorb impact away from the car and driver.

This principle also includes Armco and tyres, though. I suppose one could treat Tecpro as a superior alternative to a tyre wall, and SAFER as an improved concrete wall.

Interestingly, Tecpro's site says that they have installed their first barrier at Le Mans this year, but I can't work out where it is.

just 15 min of run, the final qualifying will be intense if ACO doesn't extend this one.

Imo, they should go straight from now to midnight

edit: oh well, hope the extra 30 min is enough
