Interestingly, this is the first championship Davidson has won since the Formula Ford UK Winter Series in 1999, which was also his first non-karting drive. It appears to be Buemi's first car championship full stop.

iono, that might turn out a bit like Schumi out, Kimi in. Unknown quantity etc (my point being that Kimi didn't do much for Ferrari in the long run, compared to what Schumi would have been able to).
