FIA rain rules suddenly come into effect.

That'll be the race.

Not multi-class, not nearly the same speed and power, though. There's a difference.

Does seem odd they err on the side of caution so much.

They build these tracks to standards that means there's acres of tarmac between the cars and barriers, most of the time there's nothing to hit, and as soon as they get past inter conditions, they get chicken and throw a SC even though no-one said it was too dangerous and no-one was flying off the road.

Now the cars have their tyre temps going down and if they get going again (which I doubt) it'll actually be more dangerous than if they stayed racing at 100%

But this is the way things are these days, seems pointless moaning about it now, it won't change back.

Well, conditions aren't gonna improve. Throw a red or let them race.

Sometimes I wonder how much it has to do with safety vs. amount of cars finishing. Bad for business. Crap race ending is bad for business too.

My guess is that the acres of run-off is part of the problem. Can't tell what is track and what isn't.

It'll be worse for business if those people who paid for a live stream demand a refund on the last hour of racing :p
