Before I forget, a note to all those coming to PLM:

Bring old clothes and shoes. This is me speaking from experience. There is red clay as far as the eye can see at Road Atlanta, and I have ruined two new pairs of shoes this way. There is still red clay on the legs of the pants I wore at last year's race, and I'm sure there's still some in Brendan's car. Red clay does not get out of things very easily, so you've been warned.

Yeah, there's still some on my Porsche cap from 2008.

The towel used to protect my baby (car) last year still has a red clay mark vaguely resembling Joey's shoes. :p

Fantastic field. Now ditch the challenge classes.

Maybe the 2 Aston and the third Peugeot and Audi and some European GT2 entries (Felbermayr, IMSA, AF Corse, Schnitzer) will be the perfect field. but it's a brillant list anyway.

Slim chances. It there was going to be one it would be mentioned in the end of every news piece, e.g. http://americanlemans.com/primary1.php?cat=news|15278

Now only qualifying is mentioned...

There won't be any official SPEED stream, as they're showing the full race flag-to-flag on the air. However, I'm sure you can find some stream somewhere either of Speed or of MotorsTV... Or, there's always Radio Le Mans.

Really looking forward to this one. Massive field of 45 cars is just amazing. For me it could have only been made better by adding the 007 Aston and the Oreca Peugeot but there's still plenty to keep us excited. I'm not a hater of the challenge classes. For this race there are some very top level drivers in those classes which should lead to some great racing. However, you do still have many gentleman drivers so I hope they are checking their mirrors. We've had traffic jams in the last few years with just 30-32 cars so I can't imagine a grid of 45.

Has anyone seen a photo of the Panoz Abruzzi? I can't seem to find one from testing.

I hope you're at the marshal point at Spectator Hill, because that would be awesome.

That Panoz looks like Batman's version of the AMG Mercedes supercar.

Saw it @ Le Mans this year. Not my cup of tea. But always great to see Panoz back, I'm sure it will look pretty cool in racing trim.
