Wonder why Childress's team didn't set a quali time. :?

Childress's car blew an engine about midway through the second practice session - couldn't get it replaced in time, and skipped qualifying. He was back at it for the night practice though.

For those watching, I'm marshalling at Infield turns 1 and 2 this weekend... :D

Shame for the Childress car, which I must add, looks rather nice:

A clear example how a livery can make a car beautiful.

That's a great looking car! I can't wait to see Uncle Jack fighting through traffic to get to the front.

Are there going to be any streams for the KONI race?

Lets hope so, their practice times weren't anything special.

You'll all need to watch the KONI Challenge race when it airs in a few weeks - absolutely phenominal racing. I won't spoiler anything, but once the race settled in after the typical early yellows, the racing was incredible...

Looking forward to a good race tomorrow... Very competitive, and for whatever reason I have a feeling that this year may be a little more about reliability than we've seen in the past - but I've been wrong before...

I have been feeling that way too, I also expect more contact this season over previous years.

Funny you say that Chris, I actually have gotten the feeling that we'll see significantly fewer incidents this year, at least with the DP's...

If my calculations are right, about 4 hours and a half

The race isn't for a while, about five hours or so.

I don't think we'll be doing radio. James left in a hissy fit, Brendan's going to be working in turns 1 and 2 as a marshal, and my microphone's busted.

Hey Brendan, if the #99 is leading with less than an hour to go, is there any chance of "missing" a peice of debris in turns 1 and 2?
