It's a shame we'll lose both his cars when he finally gets taken down. It's 2 decent entries. And they aren't as hilariously unprepared as Dyson, for example.

Revolutionary tyre change by the DeltaWang there. Revolutionary in that it took about a week to change 2 tyres.

I know this is an old horse to beat, but what pisses me off is how many LIES there are about the DeltaWing.

"Less than half the weight"

No it isn't. LMP1 is 900kg. DW is 475kg. That's more than half. And ignores that the LMP1s are ballasted up to 900.

Plus there's nothing revolutionary about it. There were two cars it beat to the 56th spot that were a lot more revolutionary.

The other lie I forgot. "It's got a special Nissan engine, designed for it". Bullshit. It has a RML motor based on the WTCC car, with a Nissan badge on it. If it was actually a Nissan engine then Darren Cox would be screaming from the roof tops how amazingly revolutionary it was and how Nissan push the boundaries of technology and innovation.

Yeaa, it's all a con. The average viewer isn't going to know that so they can say anything. The whole car is a joke, there are more deserving cars for that spot.

Wasn't one of those that lost out hydrogen powered or something?

Yeah. The original GreenGT proposal looked like this.

Then when it appeared at Le Mans for a presentation it looked like this.

Not to mention the fact it's so hard to spot it's been smacked into and had a huge accident during both of the two race weekends it's been entered in.

Plus it's so frickin' ugly.

Still far more revolutionary and deserving. Plus people would be able to see it.
