I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume there was something going on in the Porsche Curves run off, otherwise this is the most ridiculously over-cautious race direction I've ever seen.

Yeah, unless that Ferrari destroyed a whole lot this has been pointless. But even then it could probably still have been finished under a slow zone.
