To his credit, it took nearly 3/4ths of the race before it happened :p

Little spin for the #54 Ferrari at Dunlop into the marbles and gravel trap residue. Could potentially lead to a puncture...

Earl Bamber in the #93 seems consistently quicker than Mike Rockenfeller in the #63. Over a second quicker this lap, but it's a long way to go with the gap at 19 seconds now. Serra in the lead is just a litle bit faster atm.

Edit: Serra pits on lap 252 and hands over to Pier Guidi. Bamber has recently gotten in, so this could be interesting to keep an eye on going forward. Bamber has the #91 Porsche not too far behind him, just about keeping up with his pace.

No hyperbole, this really is rather close with 6 hours to go...

It seems pretty clear that the top 3-4 in GTE Pro are relatively in-synch in terms of pitstop cycles. They might end up in a big ol' battle together within the next hour or so if we stay green.

Edit: #91 pits on lap 259, driver change, Bruni in. Previous stop in the top-4 was #51 on lap 252.
Edit: #93 pits on lap 260, Bamber stays in and gets some fresh brake discs.

After leading for most of the race, the #26 has already dropped to 7th. Amazing how quickly things change

Mike Rockenfeller pits on lap 261 and hands over to Antonio Garcia.

#51 Ferrari pitted on L252.
#91 Porsche pitted on L259.
#93 Porsche pitted on L260.
#63 Corvette pitted on L261.

Not sure what the amount of laps are for a fuel run in GTE Pro.

Pier Guidi is really pushing the #51 Ferrari towards the end of his fuel run now; done a 3:50.6, which is easily the quickest GTE lap within the last hour.

Edit: Another one! 3:50.1
Edit: Pier Guidi pits on L266. That's 14 laps.

Assuming the BoP class also is similarly matched in terms of fuel usage...

#51 Ferrari: L252 to L266. Due in again on L280.
#91 Porsche pitted on L259. Due in on L273
#93 Porsche pitted on L260. Due in on L274.
#63 Corvette pitted on L261. Due in on L275.

There's a bit of a McLaren sitting in the middle of the track.

Sorry, United Autosport thing, same failure in charge of both though.
