Official word from IMSA is that @FlyingLizard_MS is excluded from #GT (stall test). @ESMRacing now the race-winner in class. #ALMS

Which makes van Overbeek's last lap pass on Magnussen worth so much more! Congrats to ESM, their first win in ALMS.

Apparently the air filter got sucked in and broke the seal around the restrictor, letting air pass through during the stall test.

Sportscar Legend Henri Pescarolo's team has withdrawn from this year's FIA World Endurance Championship.

The Pescarolo Team called time on its 2012 programme following financial problems that had threatened it participation in June's Le Mans 24 Hours with its Aston Martin-based 03 LMP1 design. Pescarolo, however, stressed that it was not the end of his team.

"We knew we would have a problem after Le Mans, and when Ronald Goethe [the collector who owns the Aston AMR-One on which the 03 is built] decided not to spend more money, we had to stop," he said.

"There are possibilities for us. We could be involved with the Dome again if it does the Fuji WEC race, and we are looking at LMP2, which could be good for a privateer."

Q. Minoru-san, does Dome S102.5 participate in the WEC Fuji round ?
A. Probably we do not participate. Since Judd engine is powerless, participating is meaningless.
