I don't see the car looking like that, especially since it has no doors and the front wheel arch vents are the wrong way round. No way the A Pillars will fit the safety regs either (look at how wide the 908/R18s are). It's cost capped around €100 k or something, so it'll change.

Not entirely sure if theres a big market for it, but fair play to ORECA. It puts them in competition in CN, Formula LM, LMP2 and LMP1.

Clearly intended for Pikes Peak. Looks like the Hyundai that drove there.

Why such a car to climb Pikes Peak? Dowforce would be almost useless in such thing :o

The Oreca prototype looks great, though, and I hope it materializes

Oh good grief what a stupid comment. FYI, Pike's Peak is all tarmac now. And why would downforce be less useful on dirt anyhow?

I can't fathom...

If you can't fathom, then don't hurry to call it "stupid" because, maybe, the stupidity is in you and I won't even bother to explain to you why it would be useless on a "clay" surface. BTW, looks who's agreeing with you lol

edit: I just undestood why they ran a GTP-like car on clay track, to make the car looks "cooler" and also fool people like you who think all the aero stuff will make a significant difference.

Rather big crash for Simon Dolan. SC might take a bit.

They're leaving the car there I guess.

Looked like he got a bit banged up.

Downforce doesn't magically disappear just because you change surface. It does however change the higher you get.

Oh, and watch the personal attacks, I did see what you posted before.

For just 13 cars, this has been quite a good race to be honest

yeah, how convinient for you to say that. I was smart enough to edit before I gave a reason for you to achieve what you have long wanted.

About the "issue" who generated the name calling(started by dickplash, though), no matter how much downforce you put it in the car, the surface nature will always make it slide. It will never really grip, not to make you go significantly faster in the corners(and actually, using the slide is the way to drive through these surfaces). What it will mostly do is only gives you tones of drag

See it, Gaara. But I'm sure you won't tell him to watch for the personal attacks in anyway.

Not that I care, though, this guy posts mostly rubbish, and I don't rate him at all, never did, actually.
