Besides 1969, is this the closest non-staged finish ever? And by staged finishes I mean the other sister cars of the leader pulling up to it to get their photo taken as the race is over. |

If the ACO doesn't change the track or the cars for next year, the pole speed will be back down into the 3:18s and they'll be running laps in the low 3:20s consistently again. Not that I want the ACO to change the track, or cars (I don't), just making an observation. |
