The GTs will drop behind the LMP2s before the restart, that's why it's taking so long. SCs B & C pull in, field bunches up behind SC A, LMP2 field drops to the back, NASCAR drops to the back, then finally GTs drop to the back.

Quick check while waiting for food: What a joke. Terrible PR for the LeBron crowd.

Taking IMSA SC rules and making them even dumber. Genius.

And bear in mind this can only start taking place AFTER the incident has been fully cleaned up.

Why don't they just use 1 safety car and just leave everybody in place, no bullshit closing the pits. Never understood the 3 safety car thing, yes the track is long but they will catch the safety car eventually. Now they just made everything so complicated every safety car phase will take at least 30 minutes. Imagine this further in the race when the field is all jumbled up, it will take ages to line up

Le Mans safety car procedures remind me of the bureaucracy scenes from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy movie.

I don't mind bunching up behind one SC because it used to suck when races were ruined by the 3 SCs, but they don't need to do the class split

Each one will take 42 mins

Looking good for those who want to watch the entire race though, a 40 min snooze every 2 hours will mean we'll have no problem staying awake all night

Even if this doesn't last, it's so good to see racing at the front at Le Mans again
