nope.

maybe if there was a straight link to the .swf, then it would be even possible to open it in external player. I tried to look for it from HTTP headers but none of them work.

I find all this very weird. The director is the award winning Jim Roller who also does commentary for RLM during Le Mans. He directs all the races and is usually one of the best in the world. But this year in a couple of races he's been pretty sub-par. I'm wondering if someone is substituding for him, I'll try to ask Hindy next week if I have a chance.

Also, some deja-vu from Road America. The live timing is stuck, both in the commentary booth and online.

With so many yellows, the race may run to the 10 hour limit.

yeah.

can't really understand what can be so complicating to get live timing work properly and in a bulletproof way.

That problem happens at isolated tracks where the internet connections isn't perfect. At least I think so. I was at Road America in 2006 for the Champcar race and the lack of internet connection was very bad. But at least here in Road Atlanta there is the capability for ISDN connection so the sound is much better than usual.

I do think that's a screenshot of the commentary booth timing. I always find it amusing that the internet live timing is much better and more comprehensive than what the commentators reffer to.

I'm not sure the overall direction is that bad it's just they are doing the best with what they have, and what they have is a lot less cameras than they probably want, which hurts them in terms of incident capturing...

Although maybe superstar director Jim Roller only botheres directing when the show is on Speed and leaves the work experience boy in charge \t other times?

Pla gets another penalty for too many people working over the wall.

The Pug to the lead, as the #73 Tafel Ferrari spins.
