Racing journalists (with an invitation) can reserve half an hour of interview time with Patrick Dempsey on June 8. After that he will be media-silent until the 23rd.

Is it really about that or does he just want to concentrate on the race?

Dempsey on Eurosport:

ep2 http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/video/dem ... 02624.html
ep3 http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/video/dem ... 29869.html

I don't know if this is the doc he was supposed to do or just separate series.

Yeah he doesn't look like that big of an attention whore, just a passionate guy.

He's kinda hit the wrong note with a lot of racing journos it seems (at least those I have contact with). I'm sure that most just want to talking about racing anyway, but of course it's his own decision. It does come across as being a bit of a 'star attitude', even if it's not the intention

Assumption or information? At Silverstone and Spa the Audi stream was the fiawec.com Dailymotion stream (just embedded on the page), so if there is no fiawec.com stream, I don't think they will have it either...

There is the countdown to it's stream on:

But it could be only the onboards. The official stream on Dailymotion would be ideal though, since it's pretty good quality...

The WEC won't have an offical online feed for the race, but if Audi pays for the rights to use the world feed on their site, then they can do whatever they like with it.

Historically Audi has used the world feed mixed with onboards, which is what I'd expect again this year.

The GreenGT H2 has withdrawn from the race.

Good. More coverage for cars that are actually racing against other cars. ;)

ProSpeed seems to be ready, so indeed. Kind of asumed that either ACO wouldn't fill up that spot or the reserves wouldn't have enough time

Good. Hope that helps bring about the end of this daft gimmick so that a proper race team and car can be invited each year instead.

I don't think this iniative will end. They need something like this to satisfy the public (non race-addict) opinion

I dispute that entirely. There are already hybrid thingies winning the race overall so these "alternative" (read as half-baked, nonsensical, dangerous and slow such as the Hydrogen Bomb and the DildoWang were) things are pointless. The public can shove it and go watch their F1. :)

Umm? If anything, F1 has showed the middle finger to these iniatives the longest. They don't even call the cars as hybrids (which they really are).
