This will be a long night for our team as two of our three cars were involved in a collision during night practice (No. 1 & No. 3)

That was the craziest night of practice that Ive been a part of in over a decade. Half the field crashed or went off. All 3 Audis crashed.

Night practice at Sebring often brings its share of drama and Thursday's running was no different. While Audi topped the time charts yet again, its lead R18 TDI was taken out in a four-car pileup that also saw a second diesel-powered prototype sustain damage.

It was the first of two significant accidents during the planned one-hour and 45-minute session, which was lengthened to two hours following the lengthy red flags.

The first incident came just past the one-hour mark, when the No. 031 NGT Motorsport Porsche was spun around by a PC car in the hairpin, collecting the No. 3 Audi of Loic Duval, who ran into the Nick Heidfeld-driven No. 12 Rebellion Racing Lola B11/60 Toyota. Marcel Fassler's No. 1 Audi was also involved, rear-ending teammate Duval.

While Fassler and the others involved were able to limp back to the pit lane, Duval's Audi sat stationary with damage to the front and rear and didn't rejoin.

That wasn't the only drama, as just minutes after the track went back green, Maxime Jousse suffered a high-speed accident in Turn 11. While the young Frenchman walked away unscathed, it's questionable whether his No. 28 Gulf Racing Middle East Lola B12/80 Nissan will make Saturday's start.

Hope he gets to race at Le Mans as well this year. No more pitlane parkour, remember...
