Too bad there's only one Oreca. But the field is looking awesome anyways. I hope Jon Field can keep his car in one piece a bit longer this time than at Road America and Mosport, that car is spectacular.

Mostly because the merger between Gulf and Chevron was essentialy goofed up after Gulf managed to implode itself in the 80's. Chevron wanted to shut down the Gulf brand and re-brand the profitable parts of Gulf as Chevron. But for awhile Chevron did not own all of Gulf so it could not completely shut the brand down. Since some Gulf stations remained under control of BP and Cumberland Farms there where issues with credit card acceptance also which caused confusion. It is all rather complicated. Basicly Chevron had no interest in useing the name, but they cant really get rid of it aparently. Though after Chevron took over Texaco they did rebrand A decent amount of them with the Gulf setup.

For sure... I just hope the first two laps won't be like Sebring.

I believe him. This race will be more harder than Sebring for Diesel, now the Acura is terriblely competitive.

They might have cured some childhood diseases but since they have had a development freeze due no competition it is still probably far from full potential.

I don't see Acura getting close to Audi and Peugeot.

The Drayson P1 car is awesome. Lord Drayson is one mad bastard though.
