Well that was fucking stupid. They just stood there as the guy pulled out from his pitstall. They should have moved, cost the guy time.

That was the Aston's fault, left Liddel with nowhere to go.

Just had a crash in prototype qualifying. #07 Mazda had spun, pulled slightly toward the track, and the #9 missed the turn and hit him.

Why are the Mazda Prototypes still so slow? No power? The engine can't run clean? The crew doesn't know anything how to set up a car? Is it heavy?

How can it be so shit? That engine hasn't gone anywhere since the beginning if last year.

Pretty frank about the issues:

That is what sportscar racing, and sportscar racing in the prototype classes should be about. Mazda takes a big risk trying to prove the technology, the EXACT technology that comes from streetcars, in order to make it good enough to compete with the proven and time tested tech of petrol V8's and V6Ts. Good on them for fighting the good fight.

Absolutely, I salute them for the effort. It is the lack of results that's disappointing.

Yay, for the first time this season, the broadcast stream on IMSA.com works for me. Better late than never, etc.

Go Corvette.

But only in GTLM.

Disappointed I have to watch online rather than on FS2, which is showing some rerun of some UFC thing, but this is better than nothing.
