Well they will probably replace the bottom rail. It's an intresting debate on the guardrail because the city of lemans pays for the up keep of the track in the guard rail sections. I highly dought they would want to install concrete barriers for the whole track because it would cost too much. I believe the Nürburgring too is covered in guardrail sections. It would cost way too much to replace the gaurd rail at Nürburgring. Guard rail is relatively cheap... |

i think that this kind of damage we have at this moment, wasn't repaired before. Unless it was a really big shunt and a big gaping hole the armco barrier were left as they were, even if they were a bit 'cripled' or damaged. |
