Traffic is a bitch in Francorchamps, it is a nightmare to leave the track. So I don´t mind lots of people leaving now, and traffic cleared by the time race is over

I think you're missing the point. When the governing body can change the fundamental rules of the race at any given moment that leaves the door open for intentional manipulation.

I really don't think "rewinding the clock" on a session is outside the rulebook. I've never seen it happen during a race, but I distinctly remember it happening at Le Mans during practice or qualifying.

It isn't outside the rulebook. Rule 14.3.1.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Good race, and I hope other series learn something from how WEC prioritised the fans today

Very glad that race got restarted. Career defining races for Ilott and Stevens.

Bamber got the blame for the crash and gets a 5 place drop for Le Mans.

Unsurprisingly, Ferrari protested the decision.

And it was immediately rejected.

Yeah, that was a bullshit protest. Guess I'm just used to American/F1 rules and Red Flags don't count against the race distance. If it's in the rules that they can force majoure the race back to life, then so be it.

We got hosed by the timing of the red and so did Iron Dames it seems. Just a part of racing.

Would they have protested if they were in Jota's position? Of course not.

It was a decent race, a beautiful day, and a glorious looking field of Prototypes and GTs. Glad we got the advertised amount of racing.

AF Corse/Ferrari is pissed, so let's use that anger and perceived injustice to get the repeat next month!
