Loudpedal.TV, the official online video archive for USAC has recently converted their video archive (up to 2018) to free-view for the general public for 2019. There is some AOWR related videos on there from USAC's early years along with tons of open wheel short track races.

Hmm, this race vaguely reminds me of an unfulfilled obligation I have but I can't quite recall. Hmm, I wonder. But no matter. I'm sure it will surface at some point.

This was the first FULL IndyCar race I ever watched. I had seen parts of Long Beach and Indy that year, and part of Indy '94, but this was the first time I sat down and watched a race flag to flag.

Finally, Indycar stop pretending the throughline of open wheel history runs though the hated IRL and gets on with some quality CART racing

Still bitter, after all these years :P

The last race of AJ before he BETRAYED Forsythe and gave Gerry a bad taste in his mouth that ultimately led to him not continuing into the unification era.

We did lose a potential open wheel champion in AJ though, all to run around at the back in NASCAR and win the occasional road course race *sigh*

But yeah, I hope this is a good sign for the future of Indycar and Surfers Paradise
