but I still think he was no competition to his father and uncle, they raced Pikes Peak Hillclimb on IndyCars

The '97 Penske was actually fairly stout on short ovals, yeah. I remember it being a bit of a dog on the road courses. Beautiful car though!

That years Lola however was awful everywhere.

Technically the car was faster than the '96 one, but it wasn't nearly as big a gain as Reynard and Penske found. Plus it was incredibly difficult to set up properly because of a change in the type of front suspension.

The only time he had pole but didn't win was 1992 at Surfer's Paradise.

Last weekend I went to the local karting track here (quite a nice one) and they had this old relic sitting there.









I wanted to sit in it so much...

I doubt it is in running condition...on closer inspection which you can't see in the photos it looked like it was missing some internal parts.

That's a pretty tast livery for a show car

They were the ones that announced last weekend a new 41,000 square foot shop right there in speedway,IN. They currently run 2 indy lights cars and 4 mazda pro cars

Apparently Katherine Legge is involved with the press conference tomorrow.

New team is Grace Autosport. An all female team targeting next years Indy 500.

The project looks like a good idea. As a bi-product, Cheeveer will be happy.
