Yeah, he was on cold tyres

Grosjean knew that and forced the issue against a car that he knew wouldn't be able to tun in sufficiently, he could've just let him slide through the corner and got him on the exit, but showed nothing but short term thinking

Not sure how Scott avoids that crash with Grosjean squeezing him and leaving him no-where to go

He wasn't squeezed. He had a full car's width of room. If he had braked at the appropriate point, considering his cold tyres and being forced to use the inside line, he wouldn't have lost control and would still be running. Running in 2nd, but still running.

And well he should. He sent that thing in there on cold tires. If Grosjean wasn't there and all else being the same, he'd have wound up in the tires anyway. He was never making that corner.
