Any time you get this kind of race when everyone is seperated by about 30 seconds on track but it's all about pumping in laptimes, it's going to be shite

Pretty sure Indycar has always been like this, but it's riding on the coattails of an era when shitty drivers brought out cautions and made fuel saving redundant
