Whoa, huge crash for Pato O'Ward. Bigtime air, almost flipped.

Pato O'ward into the wall. Looked like a spin from 92, hit nose first then the car almost took off while sliding backwards. Didnt flip, landed back on the wheels and he was able to get out on his own. Red flag currently, obviously.

Can't remember the last time there were this many incidents so early in the week. They don't even have max boost yet.

Alonso was understeer, the last two looked like maybe they've got the cars loosened up right on the edge. Might not be able to run under that white line without the rear getting light.

A little worrisome that the car got up in the air, but we'll see how it plays.

Car had almost nothing left on the left side, so I think it wasn't that hard to get airbourne. Anyway, in my opinion, we can't just say "hey car, stay on the ground" when they're going so fast. I know that it's not good when the car goes airbourne and all that stuff, but when something goes wrong with that speed, poop happens. I don't think there's something they can do when car goes way over 200mph and hits the wall, whole aerodynamic of the car is screwed because of missing body parts, wheels, changed center of gravity.

I am laying my prediction for row 12 out as Hanley, Alonso and O'Ward. Carlin are having to dig out Chilton's road course car for O'Ward to use as his T car.

Per owner Elton Julian on Pruett’s podcast, half of DragonSpeed’s crew had their visas denied five days ago self.INDYCAR

They’re stuck in Europe. So he had to hire new crew members four days ago before the start of practice. If you didn’t already want to see this team make it, here’s another reason.
