I respect Indy's honoring of the race distance and not running over, but throwing a red just to get a one lap shootout....idk... just make a green flag finish rule.

I love the red flag for a late restart. Best of both worlds. A fair attempt to finish under green while still running the actual race distance.

Red flag is more logical than just running overtime laps behind safety car. That could really ruin a good fuel strategy and. Red flag use by indycar is mostly spot on, like in Indy 2014
