Traffic was gonna fuck it up either way

Finally got his third I guess....oh well

Want some cheese with that whine?

A plate of hot fries would go well with all that salt.

I thought that was a great finish. Helio must have seen the traffic coming and timed his move perfectly

What isn't a straight fight about pulling an outside turn 1 pass two laps from checkered? This was prime racing strategy here

Bummed for Palou but glad Ganassi didn't win and Michael Shank did

Happy for Helio, but yeah, it could be a lot different without all that traffic in front :D

That was something else. Stefan Wilson saved IndyCar

Congrats on Castroneves on winning a fourth Indy 500! Mean pass to take the lead too.

Overall, the race was pretty lacklustre though.

Man, Helio might do a victory lap on foot! Thank God the race ended so quick or else NBC would overrun the window! He will ham it up big time!

Literally nobody has crashed out of the main racing groove. Probably not a first, but noticeable.

I feel you there's plenty of feelings that are fully justified after a finish like this, not just the "recieved opinion" one *shrug*

It felt like, no matter who was in front, the 2nd place car didn't get a chance to counter attack on the last lap because the leader was getting all the traffic to tow him around

But then I guess there's some poetic justice about it cos they were going to do the exact same thing with Rosenqvist to ruin the finish the other way for Palou and give him the tow to a boring win
(Though it would've been fun to see Felix catch up with all that pack in front and try and burn through them while they were going slowly AND the leaders behind him...sounds like a recipe for a yellow finish though)

We've had a 200 lap race with only 2 caution periods, fair honest fight for 75 laps straight of green. Yet people complain about traffic in the last lap.
