Marshalls comments at the very end.... 100% agree, it's been facinating hearing Sebs insights

Indeed, one of the best surprises of the year. Always thought that he was unfriendly, specially due to that infamous Cart race. Might also have changed with all these years. Not just after solo dominating several years, and and nearing the end of his career, trying to enjoy life a bit more. Still, how many drivers with a successful career where so open while still in activity.

Always respected the talent, but I'm much more of a fan of his now. He's a funny, honest, shoot from the hip kind of dude. I like that.

It's also cool to see how tight the paddock is. Those boys and girls all seem to be pretty close. I like that too.

Looked it up, yesterday. Buddy Lazier qualified with a 227.9 in 2014.

There was not bumping that year, though. This year's could be the highest speed required to get into the field. 227.2 on saturday, 227.3 on sunday.

One member of the Harding team partied a little too hard.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Probably with all the Alonso/McLaren deal, he got some 1995 flashbacks and went mental.

The 7 whitewalled it in T3 when the pack all checked up. No major damage from the looks of it. Less than 15 minutes left in the session, so it won’t even cost them much track time.

I was just reading that, and holy shit, if all of that is true, they should make a movie about it.

And although it's a nice read, and one could appreciate Brown's apparent honesty, I cannot help but put his professionalism into question and wonder if he's about to be axed. I always believed in big companies, managers (from CEO's downward) should never appoint blame, but accept failure. All the people who fucked up, are there because his organization made it possible to for them to be there. I would never expect the CEO's from Penske, Ganassi or Andretti to make this sort of information public.
