I wonder why they didn't tried a Brickyard 400 - Indy 500 double header. Maybe NASCAR didn't wanted to be treated as a 2nd tier event. |

Too much uncertainty for sure, but all of the series has to get back going as soon as it's safe enough to do so - otherwise it's a near collapse situation for motorsport as we know it. 1 positive to this situation though (if it ends early - I'm thinking July 4th or later personally): It's finally got the pissing matches between all of the major series to end (for now) & forced their hands to try things that the fans has begged for decades (doubleheader shows with other series being the big one) |

The decision over Detroit seems to be more motivated by the fact that they would have to start work on building the track very shortly, which isn't going to be possible. Toronto will have the same problem so I wouldn't expect that race to happen either. But the rest of the calendar has time. Texas is 2 months away. If the US is clearly past the peak in a month then that race seems plausible. |
