If thats your indication for me liking either of the two more than the other, than I'd like Danica a lot better. :D

I'd totally do Simona over Danica. :p

She really wasn't that bad and got a lot of flack for a few reasons. Now, i know at least 85% of the forum had/has a hardon for Simona de Silvestro but her results weren't that great. She sure seemed more pleasant than Danica though.

If you're gonna mention a difference in results you also need to mention that Simona was stuck in an Indy Lights powered car while competing in a full Indycar season at literally the same time Danica and her team had massive (in Indycar terms) amounts of funding.

I'm not even counting that season at lotus.

(Possibly off-topic? not sure as it's a paid content article.)

Investor Group aims to start a race on streets of Nashville
http://www.bizjournals.com/nashville/ne ... -race.html

Don't have a subscription, so I am unsure what series the group is looking to get (F1, IndyCar, Formula E, sports cars etc.)

I feel like this could be involved with IndyCar, as Firestone's headquarters are based in Nashville. But I would also think there could be some conflicts of interest with Barber MP

Hopefully Nashville's politicians don't suck as much as mine in Boston.

3rd manufacturer is more than likely off the table for 2018. Rumored to be Lamborghini of all companies.

Makes sense. VAG has all that Audi Sports money to spend now due to the Dieselgate fiasco.

Apparently most if not all of it is being sunk into Formula E

I guess Indycar is destined to never add decent ovals back to the series

Go to Nashville, don't use Nashville Superspeedway....great.

I sensed that was the case, but it does mean even if the track does come back (Yeah, like that happens in Motorsport....:( ), racing on its doorstep means they'll never use it again, unless they're planning a 5 year operation to grow new Indycar fans then drop the street course and send them back to the oval.

A shame, that's the kind of Oval that's perfect for Indycar and doesn't end up with debates about the quality of racing for days after the flag.

They couldn't use an oval in Nashville unless someone wanted to invest millions into the facility.

Pikes Peak needs to come back to all series. Cool layout, and thinner air means mechanical grip is more relevant.

Are you talking roval or the actual mountain?

There's "peak" in the name. And a twisted evil smiley. What do you need more :p

Also, rovals suck and should be banned from existence. Name me one single exciting infield track? None. Literally none (Yes, Daytona, you too). They're all flat putrid slow corner-vomit of an excuse to go around and get back on the banking. :)

New Hampshire's roval is pretty decent for what it is.

IndyCar looked great back in the good old days of dirt hill climb

today they would set those huge wings to give more downforce and racing wouldn't look good
