Probably only a matter of time until DCR announce the same with Pippa Mann, as per usual. Well, the superspeedway rounds anyway.

God damn those cars are beautiful. That's how I want an indycar to look.

You do realise it's the same shitbox of a car just with different panels on? What is it they say about it not being possible to polish a turd?

I like it, A lot.

I'd still like to see proper chassis competition come back, But with everyone so focused on cost's I get why that won't be happening anytime soon.

I also hope that dropping the rear pod's doesn't come back to bite them in some way, either with a big airborn crash on an oval or with the new lower drag cars not producing as good racing on the big ovals like Indy. For as shit as the rear pod's look, They have at least on ovals done what they were designed to from a safety standpoint (Help prevent wheel to wheel contact) & the extra drag they generated has helped produce some fantastic racing on the speedways via the big hole they punch in the air.

The only other thing I hoped for was the old angled super speedway winglets instead of a full frontwing, but actually I'm more than happy with those cars.
Good job indycar!

Aero can make a hell of a lot of difference to how a car races. And compared to what other premier open wheel series is the current car a shitbox, assuming criteria is raceability and safety?

There is still a lot of aero bits on these kits. I don't care for them.

I simply LOVED the new IndyCar chassis!!! Basically, IndyCar is back after so many years of weird experiments. They've brought IndyCar back! Couldn't be happier!
