When your hire Power and JPM to be in your team, yea, your not gonna be on my support list. Used to be a big fan of the team (late 90s/early 00s). Al Unser Jr, Gil de Ferran. Drivers and a team you could respect.

Penske has the officials under his thumb and gets what he wants.

Sorry what? How closely have you been watching the series these last few years? You know, the years that Ganassi got EVERY call go there way... You know, the years when Penske failed to claim any silverware because of those calls from officials...

Before 2007.....not very closely :p

Mainly based on his 90s/very early 2000s treachery.

Nvr 4get

Still, I find it hard to have sympathy with any of them, for whatever reason I'm not a fan of any team in Indycar, just drivers.

But whatever you want to say about the past, today's call was the correct one.

Not that it matters any more

Update in 50 minutes, they want to get a race in.

Got home, found out I missed nothing except for the Safety Car pulling a Taki Inoue, turn on the TV just to see Sport1US cutting to Major League Soccer, and now my stream shows this shit

50 mins until they tell us they're not going to run the race? great....

Doesn't matter anyway, ESPN here have called the race for them, so we're not gonna see it.

"On-track activities have concluded"

As in, no race.

Surely even Indycar aren't stupid enough to wait 4 hours just to call a race. It's getting darker already, if they didn't have a good idea they were going to get it in they'd have called it by now.

Right?

My response was to speedworx. But I'm with you in that I have no sympathy or apathy for any of the bigs teams. My support of Franchitti was tested when he got involved in the Ganassi d-baggary.

Montoya's done a good job so far this year so I'm not sure why there's a need for so much hatred toward him. Maybe there's some unforgiven history with Mears perhaps?

Indycar officials somehow manage to make nascar look good on a regular basis and that ain't easy.

I try to support Indycar when I can because I think they do a lot of things better than F1, but that was some pretty poor officiating today. They managed to make themselves look completely stupid AND not even get a race out of it. They knew what the radar looked like, they should have made a decision one way or the other a lot sooner.

I was thinking the same thing, especially after they interviewed him after he spun out at that first green flag attempt. I coulda sworn the guy was high as fuck.

Nope, just the people that do can't be arsed getting involved with the pointless insults game. Quite removed from his nationality, I like Will because he's extremely talented, aggressive (sometimes too much), actually speaks his mind, is hilarious on twitter, a road racer who's actually learned to win on ovals, and usually fesses up when he's screwed up, like he did today.

Just to lend another side to the story.
