His hands were all over the place. He basically just had a 4-lap anxiety attack.

Did he not put the diffuser sidewalls back on?

Thought he would have learnt that lesson yesterday.

Oh my fucking god Eddie Cheever is such an annoying prick and makes my blood boil, but Scott Goodyear is somehow even more annoying and is absolutely insufferable. He has the most punchable voice I've ever heard. And does he really need to fucking say "what we call" before every goddamn noun??? NBC coverage can't get here soon enough.

Stick Leigh Diffey in the box with Goodyear and Cheever - he'd sure as hell drag some enthusiasm out of them!

Special Ed will hold on. Helio has a job on to hold a front row spot.

Ed on the pole. Turned the only 230 lap in the field. That thing was bad fast. 4 lap average almost a full mile per hour faster than Pagenaud.

Wow, incredible average speed for Carpenter! Impressive.

Now Helio was too damn slow man...but as I can see he tried the low drag setup to see what he could actually do, It was a bet, he's definetly not wrong in doing that. Now he has to focus on race day! :metal:

Someone must have wrecked in Lights practice this morning, because there's a mark on the wall exiting T2 and 500 practice only just now got under way.

Wickens just wrecked on the backstretch. Something broke in the right rear (or maybe he had a flat?).

Unhurt.

In the background he looked wide so probably got the wall.

Oh, different angle shows he got loose and brushed the wall on the exit of T2 and broke something, then hooked back into the wall a few hundred feet after.

Turned out this was a 2-car crash:

Not good when there were only 9 cars in the session.
