Coldtyre, I agree with what you are saying. I do consider it the greatest race in the world but that's just me. It's a matter of opinion.

It ain't called the Greatest Spectacle in Racing for nothing...

This. Been watching this nearly every year since 2003 and I've been hooked ever since. This is 8th in a row and for me it's been the highlight of racing season. That said with nothing taken away from any other legendary events. I love Monaco GP and Le Mans, Dega is awesome and the racing year starts with Dagar and Daytona500. But there's only one that I would never want to miss. That's the Indy500, the greatest spectacle in racing.

Now time for some hockey.

Dixon's engine swap completed in 1 hour and 3 minutes by 18 crew guys! Amazing. They have less than 10 minutes to be in the tech line or he will miss his attempt and start 33rd.

The radio broadcast said he barley caught the end of the pit wall and spun like a top six or seven times

He did, was lucky. Another 5 feet further and that car would have been split in half. Now a roughly 15 minute delay to repair the barrier.

9pm, they did same yesterday, even showed highlights before picking it up live so they had the slot for it. Must be a licence issue.
