Because tobacco brands are about the tobacco, the taste, the experience, etc... Electronic cigarettes is a method to get people to stop smoking and the harmful effects associated with inhaling burning tobacco. They are two completely different business models. |

Tobacco companies are about money and what gets them money. If e-cigarettes is the way to go, they'll definitely follow it. Also, they can use them only as a loophole, just as a way to advertise the brand in general. Btw, E-Cigarettes are a way of someone making a profit out of you, they don't want you to stop smoking, they just want you to only smoke e-cigs. |

So to gain more profit you're suggesting the tobacco companies should launch a product that would compete with their only area of business? I know that a lot of companies offer diverse products, but this would not be a good idea. |
