Ouch!! Just heard about Hildebrand getting the boot! Shame.. but I guess the team has had enough of his mistakes. Some notable ones come to mind anyway.. plus his early exit from Indy last week..

Talented guy, but wasted too much good opportunities. St. Petersburg this year was pretty bad.

On the other hand, Long Beach was pretty good. While I think Indycar would only benefit from American drivers, they should be successfull to make it worthwhile. Hildebrand usually only was an "also ran", so I don't think he's a big loss. Briscoe and Servia should do good there.

Speaking of underperforming driver, how about Saavedra? He's 9 points behind Ana Beatriz, the difference being that while her car breaks, he demolishes his.

Why would a guy like Briscoe even consider to drive for Barnes? That man is a nut.

Contractual reasons, but like I said, don't know what DRR has to gain by holding onto him. Especially if they're no longer running.

No longer running in Indycar.

Is there a chance they are intending to run somewhere else? Sportscars? :?

That Munoz kid needs a fulltime ride IMO. Is he bound to Andretti?

sooo glad JR is gone. i've never liked him and always thought he never deserved that ride. briscoe is in for one race and cant make the rest due to his ALMS ride so servia will fill in for the rest of the year. it'll be interesting to see where hildebrand ends up but i doubt it'll be anywhere in indycar

So DRR and Panther are gonna end up being the biggest assholes in IndyCar this year.
Weird world.

I don't think it's a bad thing to give people a second chance.

He's not banned.

It definitely isn't a bad think, on the contrary in my opinion. But who would have thought that Roger Penske would be that person? He gets a big kudos from me because of this as does AJ, if he's not throwing this away just like that.

If anything, in retrospect, taking "drugs" was a good thing for AJ's career if he wanted another competitive ride after struggling with Penske in NASCAR. Almost gave him a chance to win the Indy 500 in an opportunity he would otherwise never get. :p

Apparently IndyCar officials are not happy with the way Panther has handled it's JR situation.
