I doubt it. It's normally a 5 stop race and trying to trim that down to 4 would mean 40-lap stints, which is too much saving to be fast.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

that considering we usually have more cautions in the final 50 laps that turn pace to 11

Long way off of course, but race day is trending warm-ish, which I imagine would increase degradation a little bit.

If anything, a slightly harder tyre should mean better racing as the drivers will not be concerned about wearing the tyres out early.

That's one way of crashing.

Probably makes him the favourite to get bumped.

Very late exit thankfully, so the impact wasn’t bad.

I hope they've tested those things backwards in a wind tunnel.... :whistling:

Something broke, not his fault.

While it did catch a lot of air compared to what we usually see when they go over like this, I think it was just because he spun so late and didn’t pound the wall so hard. Car still had a lot of forward speed in it after it was damaged and unsettled.

Also, still didn’t fly as high as Helio did several years ago off T1.

I initially thought the same thing as Hinch even before he said anything, it looked like something on the left rear tire was weird on the full speed replay from the back angle. However, looking at it again, I think it was just tire shake from the angle it was sliding at.
