Round 12 is hosted by the final new venue on this year's calendar in the form of Portland International Raceway. Contrary to speculation, only minor modifications have been made to accomodate the series, the standout being a more rounded interpretation of the Festival Curves.

nice to see racing in a proper road course which can bring a good clownshow

The energy saving really bunches them up.

Bugger, didn't realise this race was on, and also at a really reasonable hour for me too :slaphead: :slaphead: :(

I enjoyed those last 6 laps when they really attacked. The energy saving on a track like this is a bit too much. On street tracks it's great, but here you can overtake because the straights are long enough for a normal outbraking move. More tracks like this, and less energy saving would make it perfect for me.

The need to not lead to save energy does create a really interesting dynamic, the mid race was similar to a Moto3 race with the pack bunched together. Felt the final laps didn't quite have the pay off the earlier part of the race had promised, do also find when there's lots of action the coverage falls apart a bit

Damn, probably the best race of the season so far (but then they do that every race tbf :p )

Feels like Formula E is listening about looking for road courses instead of street tracks, as long as they're downtown and in key markets like the USA!

Didn't even change the track which was surprising

Also, how did Muller end up having an oval style accident on a road course, scary moment indeed

Only downside was the NASCAR like timeslot, fell asleep before it came on, of course :slaphead:
