After a nearly 40 min red flag, we're almost close to going back to green

Mortara hit the wall and is limping around.

Mitch Evans bosses what was a rather boring race. They were saying there were no energy restrictions for this race which I wonder if it was a factor in lack of action?

Poor attack mode placement didn't help either

Vandoorne 21 points ahead with 25 to be earned, right? So Evans will have to win, and hope Vandoorne is no better than 9th? Or am I still missing something?

Allright, 2nd place and world champion. Well done Stoffel!

All we need now is Hamilton to retire at the end of this season, Vandoorne as his replacement and Mercedes who found the pace again. Easy peasy.

Second race wasn't especially exciting, the combination of no energy concerns and barely any penalty from attack mode meant the field was pretty static.

Remarkable how strong the gen 2 car has been - on the first lap the back half of the field piled into each other with a temporary track blockage but only a couple of cars had to retire. Be interesting to see if the gen 3 is as tolerant of contact

after some research, the cheapest tickets inside the stadium are $75 USD :8:

How did you find that price? Friends of mine tried to buy tickets three weeks ago and the cheapest ticket they found was about 250usd. A complete joke!

Amazing pass from Mortara early on, a late challenger for one of the moves of 2022 tbh

Absolute HORSESHIT penalty for the man from nuneaton Jake Dennis when Da Costa came around the outside of him into T1, squeezed him onto the inside turn under braking and gave him NOWHERE to go as they were both already hard on the brakes and turning for the corner, meaning Da Costa basically turned himself around the nose of Dennis.
Yet the stewards still penalised Jake? Fuck right offfffffff!

The FIA has to work on their overtaking rules for passing around the outside, as the way they're written now, the car passing you can squeeze you into the wall/kerb, cause you understeer so you cannot do anything but slide into them, then YOU will get penalised as it being YOUR fault, even if there's zero you can do about it as you're already hard on the brakes and on maximum lock

Won't be long before someone takes advantage of this in a championshp decider, pull this move knowing the consequences will be worse for the driver they're running into (or at least throw it in knowing its a either a gauranteed pass or incident that benefits them, either way win/win)

The only Mercedes he'll be driving, is the one in the simulator.
