Not wanting to be left out, Formula E also has an event scheduled for this weekend in Rome.

Image

The layout is the same as last year, with the only notable difference being a relocation of the starting grid to the straight between turns 3 and 4, which should prevent any repeat of last year's pileup at the end of practice.

Schedule (all times CEST)

Quote:
Saturday

FP1 7:15-7:45
FP2 9:00-9:30
Qualifying 10:40-11:55
Race 15:00-15:45

Sunday

FP3 8:30-9:00
Qualifying 10:40-11:55
Race 15:00-15:45

Not sure anyone told channel 4 it's a double header. Found their live coverage on Sunday but can't see anything for the Saturday race?

This C4 TV deal isn't particularly great with races constantly getting bumped to youtube

Especially with a good chunk of the field held up through no fault of their own, you'd think they'd be looking for a reason to throw the SC

It's a surprise the track wasn't blocked alltogether.

Race directors seem to think SC's are the enemy for some reason, and the "purity" of the racing must remain above all else

Even if it fucks over most of the field to not use it and makes the marshals jobs harder, The race must not be "artificial"

Feels too early for a Formula E race to be this racy....

Are they forgetting about the time extension? :8:

For such a tight track we had a ton of overtaking here. Last time around Rome was a red flag crashfest?

Dennis has a 5 sec. penalty and the fewest energy left. He'll be lucky to get a Top 10.

The rollorcoaster of emotions for nuneton's fanbase right now as Dennis looks strong then weak then strong then penalised then overtakes then has to drop back

Lotterer finished with 0,2 energy left. One more lap and half of the field would run out of power anyway so that added time was barely on the limit.
