This weekend sees the first 2 races of the season in Saudi Arabia. The circuit is unchanged from the tweaked layout introduced last year.

As this event follows the Saudi weekend, race 1 is today and race 2 tomorrow.

Qualifying for race 1 (including the new format) is live;

(UK only)

All of the sessions are still unrestricted (no geoblocks at all) on the channel. Either a new season freebie or they have yet to add the geoblocks.

Looks like it was an oversight on their part as the geoblocks have now come in. I have replaced the stream with Channel 4's, although this is UK only.

Qualifying stream broke mid-session, but there are still no geoblocks.

Ah, interesting.

The race itself starts at 5pm GMT (6pm CET\12pm EST etc.)

Race 1 stream started (above embed) and then was set as private a few mins later. But still no geoblocks for the rest of the weekend's streams.

Not sure what the hell the YT channel manager is doing.

This is one of the dullest FE races I can remember. I'm sure the qualifying format change is just coincidence

So, no more chances of having cars suddenly stopping out of battery?

Lotterer is a bad driver and should feel bad

When he's not biffing people trying to attack him he's bad at energy conservation

He blatently tried to spin Dennis as he was being passed too...

Yeah they need to put the qualifying back the way it was, no coincidence the fastest cars at the front of the grid brings us more of a procession than Formula E usually puts on

Still some sporadic bursts of good racing (lol Lotterer) but lets hope it rains or something tomorrow to shake up the order otherwise it'll be another Merc 1-2
